Doug - the eight year old agency know for, amongst other things, it's work on Grolsh and The World Wide Short Film Festival, is adding another name to the door. Introducing Doug & Serge. The addition came after Serge Rancourt, former president of Publicis Canada, joined the agency as a partner.

Wins for TAXI, Publicis and Roche. Andes invents the Teletransporter.
Following an agency review, Boston Pizza has awarded its advertising business to Taxi. Their Toronto office will handle the account, with creative duties being led by Darren Clarke, executive creative director. The account was previously held by Lowe Roche, which won the business in 2008.
Speaking of Lowe Roche, they just picked up the PartSource account.
And after losing Kia, Publicis has won the Chrysler Canada account. The auto manufacturer announced in the fall it would part ways with long-time creative partners BBDO Worldwide when their contract expired at the end of 2009.
Finally, check out the video below for one of the coolest examples of a brand extension. This further solidifies the idea that a book full of print ads, just won't cut it. It's not about art direction or copy - it's about big ideas.
