So take break from whatever you're doing, brew a big pot of mint tea and watch as Ignacio introduces the Insecurity Monter and explains how ideas are like penises.

To sum up:
ReplyDelete1. Learn to take a punch. Most of your work will get killed. It's not personal.
2. If you get told by a CD to change an ad at a portfolio show, do it, then sent him/her the changed version. ASAP.
3. Don't give up. It may take a while to get the job.
4. Ignacio really knows how to use powerpoint effectively. And penises.
5. Follow your heart. Which may mean going out and doing something other than advertising. For a while, anyway.
6. The shit that happens can help in weird unexpected ways. Like losing your fear. And the need for permission.
7. Look forward. It's where the action is.
